Hello Darlings!!!
I think you've already guessed this isn't an Andy blog entry but the first paragraph is on his behalf! I had an email from Andy around four this morning. It seems that the weather has changed and the new forecast predicts that the night of the 2nd is perfect and so he now hopes to be sumitting early on Thursday. Basically they will see what the wind is like when they are up there and do what's best.
I'm sure Andy will resume the postings on this blog as soon as he can but I can't help but feel a little lucky to be involved in this adventure even if its from the safety of my computer.
While I don't always remember to practice what I preach I believe that the power of positive thought is amazing. I am lucky because I have been able to see proof of this first hand. To see what it means for one human being to be on the receiving end of so many "Best wishes", 'Thinking of you", "You can do this" and all sorts of other positive messages. Not just since the blog started but from the very start (of this crazy idea), the support that Andy has had has boggled my mind and I'm not a boggley sort of person. From family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, adults and children who don't really know him but wish him well. Who want him to succeed. To be safe. To follow a dream.
Andy has to find the energy, skill and resolve to physically take every step but your positive thoughts are a real boost, a sort of mental Red Bull and I feel lucky to have observed this. So thank you. All of you.
Have a Happy Monday you lovely people.
